Scheduling Update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to provide an important update regarding student schedules.

This week, we will see the transfer of two of our amazing Math teachers to other middle schools within JISD. This is based on meticulous study of enrollment numbers and staffing needs across the district. Due to the resulting staffing limitations and class availability, some student schedules may need to be adjusted.

Our counseling team has worked diligently to accommodate as many student elective requests and preferences as possible. Unfortunately, because of staffing limitations, class sizes, and the number of available course sections, we are unable to guarantee preferred elective choices for every student. In some cases, students may be placed in an available elective that was not one of their original selections.

At this time, we are unable to honor requests for elective or schedule changes. Our priority is ensuring that every student has a complete schedule that meets their academic requirements while maintaining appropriate class sizes within the staffing available to our campus.

We understand that students may be disappointed if they do not receive their preferred elective, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to provide the best possible schedule for all students.

Please know that every effort has been made to accommodate student requests whenever possible. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of our students and campus.
