EOY Testing Schedule
End of year testing is coming up on Tuesday, May 5th and Wednesday, May 6th. Be sure to check the schedule so you know when your classes meet. Each exam period will be about an hour and a half, and you will attend 1st and 5th period both days. Lunch will also start 30 minutes earlier than usual.
On Wednesday morning, some students will be involved in TSI testing. If you are taking the TSI, you will sit for the TSI and report to your regular class schedule when you finish.
Seniors, please note that you are required to stay on campus until 4:05 on Tuesday, even if you have a senior free period, so plan ahead.
If you have questions, check with your teacher. Let’s finish strong!

Food Pantry
Our campus pantries can use support all year long. We now have five pantry locations across the district, including two at KKE and Griffis, placed where they’re easy for students to access, especially those who walk. A dedicated volunteer helps store and restock donations regularly, helping ensure students and families have what they need.
Items we need most include canned potatoes, pork and beans, tuna, Vienna sausage, Ranch Style beans, pasta sauce (no noodles needed), chili mac, mac and cheese cups, and any kind of soup. Ramen noodles are always a great option and go quickly. We are currently stocked up on green beans, corn, peaches, pears, and pasta, so you can skip those for now—but we are grateful for any donation. Feel free to drop donations in the front office.
Pop Tabs
We’re excited to announce that our FFA Pop-Tab Community Service Project is underway! We’re collecting aluminum pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House, and we’d love your help spreading the word and getting your students involved.
Here’s how you can participate:
- Collect pop tabs from cans (soda, soup, etc.).
Encourage your 2nd period students to bring in as many as they can!
Turn in your collection to Mrs. Watkins or the office by May 7th, 2026.
The winning 2nd period class gets a popsicle party.
This simple act makes a big difference — those tiny tabs add up fast and help fund important programs for families in need.
If you have any questions or would like a classroom collection baggie, please reach out to Mrs. Watkins!! 903-527-3164 X6304
