Message From Principal Ludford
Dear Beaubien Bulldog Families,
Parent-Teacher Conferences are TOMORROW, Monday, October 27th, from 11:00 a.m.â3:00 p.m. and from 3:45p.m.-6:00 p.m. Homeroom teachers are coordinating both in-person and virtual conference times. If you havenât yet scheduled a conference, please reach out to your childâs homeroom teacher as soon as possible. This is an important opportunity for families and teachers to connect, celebrate progress, and work together to ensure every student continues to thrive. Our goal is 100% family participation.
A HUGE Thank You!!!
Our Walk-a-Thon was record-breaking this year!!! The most successful in Beaubien history! Thank you to every family who donated and supported this incredible event. Special recognition goes to Julie Huber and Cathy Escobar for leading the PTO committee with energy and dedication.
Weâre also so grateful to Matt Corcoran, Barb Ebert-Balzano and the PTO team for organizing the Beaubien Boo Bash, and to all our families who helped make Trunk or Treat such a fun and festive success.
Cold Weather Reminders
With chilly days ahead, please remember:
- Students line up outside each morning and go out for recess when the temperature (including wind chill) is above 15°.
- Dress your child in warm, labeled clothing.
- Our Lost & Found is overflowingâplease check it tomorrow at report card pick up.
- If you can, consider donating a pair of gloves (even dollar store ones) to help students in need.
Instructional Fees
If you havenât submitted your $75 instructional fee, please do so soon. These funds directly support the materials and programs that enhance your childâs learning experience. You can pay online by clicking HERE. Also, please make sure your Family Income Form has been turned inâthis is a critical piece for our schoolâs funding.
Medical Compliance
If your childâs medical forms are still pending, please submit them as soon as possible. Exclusion notices will be sent out this week for any students not yet in compliance.
Attendance Matters
Every day counts! Consistent attendance helps your child stay connected and successful. Excused absences include illness, a mental health day, a family emergency, or a religious holiday. If your child is absent, please send a signed note or use the E-Absence online system (click HERE for details). Students with no unexcused absences or tardies will qualify for our quarterly incentive assembliesâletâs aim for 100% participation.
Tardies
School starts promptly at 7:45 a.m. Being on time helps the whole day start smoothly for students and teachers. Students with five or more tardies will receive a detentionâthank you for helping us build great habits together.
Traffic and Safety
During drop-off and pick-up, please be courteous and mindful:
- Donât double park, block driveways, or stop in areas with orange cones.
- If you live nearby, consider walking to reduce congestionâthereâs often open parking just a couple blocks away.
Letâs work together to keep everyone safe and respectful.
To stay up to date, please sign up for school notifications on our website under Helpful Links and âLikeâ our PTO Facebook page for the latest news and events.
Thank you for your continued support, partnership, and Bulldog pride!
Warm regards,
Michelle H. Ludford
