Halloween
Dear Parents,
As we near the end of October, our school Halloween parade and classroom celebrations are fast approaching. With that said, I want to provide you with the necessary information you’ll need to help us ensure a safe and fun day for all our students.
Date/Times:
Halloween Parade – 2:00pm around the exterior of the school building (inclement weather will force the parade to be held indoors, unfortunately not permitting parents to attend).
Classroom Celebrations – 2:30-3:20pm in each teacher’s respective classroom (K&1 details sent by classroom teachers)
Both events will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022.
School Visitors & Classroom Celebrations
All are welcome to attend our outdoor parade. (parking will be limited)
2 PTA Room Parents may attend indoor events on this day.
Students are permitted to bring in a personal snack for the celebration.
No additional food will be permitted during celebrations.
Costumes
Students should wear their costumes to school.
Costume accessories that are safe and school appropriate are permitted (no weapons).
For safety purposes, masks are permitted for the parade only. Makeup of any kind must be applied at home.
If you prefer that your child not participate in any part of our Halloween activities, please write a letter to my attention. Please know that we will have alternate activities planned for any student not participating.
Respectfully,
Ms. Kizee
