Many Flames, Many Faiths: An Exploration of Bonfires
From Holika Dahan in Hinduism to Lag BaOmer in Judaism, and from Celtic seasonal fires to the Easter Vigil, people have long gathered around flames to make meaning and celebrate community. This Sunday, we’ll explore these traditions together and the stories they carry. And don’t worry! We’ll keep the fire extinguisher nearby… just in case our enthusiasm gets a little too lit.

Mother's Day (No RE or Sunday School)
There will not be any staff or volunteer-led religious education classes or Sunday school lessons on this day. Parents are invited to visit the RE classrooms or play on the Shoemaker playground if they like. Many thanks in advance for being thoughtful stewards of our shared spaces.

Neighboring Faiths Trip to St. Paul's
Join members of the Family Ministry for a Neighboring Faiths trip to St. Paul's Tabernacle AME Zion, a local congregation on 6th that is part of a historic denomination known for its legacy in civil rights and abolition. This congregation, like ours, is committed to faith, community, and social justice, values we share as Unitarian Universalists. This trip is a chance to say thank you and farewell to Rev. Terry Young.
