The Winn Word

Greetings Winn Families!

Thank you so much for all of the lovely treats and surprises last week for Staff Appreciation! The staff was so appreciative of all of the love we got last week!

We are looking forward to a week full of a bit warmer weather and lots of BOOK SHOPPING! The "Buy one Get one" deal is here all week. Students will preview the book fair on Monday or Tuesday. They will be allowed to shop Wednesday-Friday.

Capturing Kids Hearts Focus: Integrity

Capturing Kids Hearts focus this month is "Integrity." This week talk to your child about what integrity means. Our focus is on "this is who we are, even when no one is looking." Some of the grade levels will be creating an Integrity "promise" while other grades are working on a "recipe" for integrity. Check the family letter out below for some great ideas to try out at home!

Highlights this week:

• BOGO Book Sale All Week!
• All 4th & 5th Grade students get $20 (which will be like $40) to spend on books to read over the summer!
• Wednesday: 4th grade field trip all day
• Thursday: K field trip all day
• Thursday: Whole School goes in to main campus for the Senior Walk on Thursday morning! Senior walk begins at 8:45am.

Birthday's this week:

• Thursday, Marek from 1st

With Gratitude,

Laurie Richards

Winn Elementary Principal

We are excited to announce our Students of the Month for exemplifying the character trait of Perseverance as part of our Capturing Kids’ Hearts initiative!

These outstanding students were chosen by their teachers for consistently showing determination, grit, and a never-give-up attitude – even when faced with challenges. They have inspired their classmates and staff alike by demonstrating what it truly means to persevere!

🎉 Congratulations to our Perseverance Stars! 🎉

We are proud of all our students for continuing to grow as leaders in kindness, responsibility, and resilience.Thank you for your continued support in helping us build a caring, connected school community!
