Principal's Update
Dear Parker Families,
What a fantastic week at Parker School! We had an absolute blast last night at our PTO-hosted Trunk or Treat, and we want to extend a warm thank you to all the creative families who decorated trunks and to every student who came out to enjoy the Halloween fun. The excitement continued with our second Best Buddies after-school event, where students had a wonderful time painting pumpkins together, be sure to check out the photos below! Our student leaders were also busy this week as our fourth graders held their very first Student Government Association (SGA) meeting, kicking off great discussions about priority areas for making Parker School an even better place.
Looking ahead to another great week of learning, please keep a few key updates in mind. The Book Fair is joining us this week, and students will visit during their library period with Mrs. McDonnell, feel free to check the schedule below or contact your child's teacher if you have any questions about their assigned day. Additionally, we have an early release on Thursday, October 29th for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Sign-ups will close on Wednesday, October 28th—24 hours prior to conferences—so please use the sign-up link below to secure your time slot. We hope to see you there!

Hello Parker community!
Who is ready for another fun filled book fair?! It is our only fair for the year, so let's make it a great one!
A few key points:
The fair will run from 10/26-10/30 and will be open during conferences on 10/29 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm
Students will attend the fair during their Lite time with Mrs. McDonnell, here is the schedule:

We accept cash or Apple Pay, we cannot accept loose change or checks
We also accept Scholastic e-Wallets, here is a link to set up https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/content/fairs/hub/videos/book-fair-ewallet.html
Scholastic does add Massachusetts state tax
We also round the purchase price up to the nearest dollar and these funds go into our "Share the Fair" account and are used to ensure that every student receives a book

Please complete this GOOGLE FORM if you would like to pre-order a student lunch for Wednesday, November 25th. This is our half-day before Thanksgiving Break. Student dismissal will be at 11:40 am and there will be no lunch served.
We are looking forward to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 29th!
This year, we are utilizing PTC Wizard for all conference scheduling. This is the same platform used by Marshall and BMHS, so if you have older students at those schools, you may already have an existing account.
To successfully schedule your time slots, the first step is to set up your Parent/Guardian account.
Once your account is created, you will be able to schedule your conferences for Thursday, October 29th. Please use the linked directions if you need any assistance with the account setup or scheduling process.
