From the Desk of Dr. Paceley
Our dual credit students continue to work hard and balance the demands of college-level coursework along with their high school classes, activities, and responsibilities. I am proud of the effort many of our students are putting in each week.
At this point in the semester, most college drop deadlines have passed for students to withdraw from a course without it remaining on their college record. Because of this, it is especially important that students stay on top of assignments, communicate with their instructors, and ask for help as soon as they begin to struggle.
If your student is having difficulty in any of their dual credit courses, please do not wait to reach out. Miss Whitmer and I are here to help students problem-solve, communicate with their college instructors, and find the support they need to be successful.
Thank you for continuing to encourage our students as they take on the challenge of earning college credit while still in high school. Their hard work now is building a strong foundation for what comes next!
From the Ag Classroom & Shop 🚜🔧
Students have been working hard in the Ag Mechanics shop as they continue building the skills needed for their AWS welding certifications. They are gaining valuable hands-on experience, practicing proper welding techniques, and learning the importance of safety, precision, and quality workmanship.
It has been great to see students growing in confidence as they apply what they are learning in the shop. These certifications can open doors to future career opportunities, and we are excited to see our students continue working toward these important industry credentials.
Tarleton Dual Credit Update 💜
Both of our Tarleton dual enrollment classes completed exams this week!
A big congratulations to our College Statistics students for a strong performance on their Unit 1 exams. Mrs. Schur shared that the class earned an 80% average—great job, Jackets!
Our Anatomy & Physiology students also completed their first exam this week. We are proud of all of our Tarleton students for continuing to work hard, prepare, and take on the challenge of college-level coursework. Keep it up!
