Welcome Back to Bedford Public Schools
Dear Bedford Public Schools Community,
We hope our students, families, faculty, and staff have enjoyed a restful and enjoyable summer. We are excited to welcome everyone back for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2. As a reminder, the first day of school will follow our Wednesday early dismissal schedule. Our Preschool and Kindergarten students will participate in orientation, with their regular school schedules beginning on Thursday. Families should refer to communications from their individual schools for specific arrival, dismissal, and orientation information.
As we begin a new school year, we are also pleased to share the video below highlighting the Bedford Public Schools and the people and programs that make the Bedford Public Schools such a special community. Also, please follow our new district Instagram account, @bedfordps_01730, for photos, highlights, reminders, celebrations, and a closer look at the good work happening throughout our schools.
We are grateful to our faculty and staff for all of the work that has gone into preparing for the year ahead, and we look forward to welcoming our students back tomorrow. We wish everyone a wonderful first day and a successful school year.
