2027 Africa Safari

It all started in 2021 when I hosted my first East Africa wildlife safari tour. It has proven to be so successful that it has become an annual event! Each year is different than the last, and each safari offers unique experiences and wildlife viewing opportunities. No two safaris are the same!

My safari trips are not high-end luxury trips - we stay in comfortable accommodations using a variety of hotels and game lodges. To offer a true Africa experience, we always include a stay in a tented camp in the Serengeti and other regions... but don't worry - the tented camps are very comfortable. There is nothing like waking up to the sounds of a lion roaring in the distance or stepping out of your tent and seeing a tower of giraffes walking by (yes, that is the collective noun for a group of giraffes!)

My 2027 Safari tour will take us to Tanzania. We will visit several of the top wildlife regions including Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and of course the incomparable Serengeti.

For 2027, my Safari tour will begin the end of May and go into June. By offering an earlier safari, rather than the usual July or August period, we will be in Tanzania at the end of the rainy season (although rain is possible at any time) when the vegetation is lush and the wildlife is on the move. We will also be ahead of the summer crowds which will afford us a more exclusive safari experience.

How about wildlife viewing? Any time is a great time in Tanzania for viewing the iconic African wildlife. During this time, the annual wildebeest migration is progressing north and is often concentrated in the central and western Serengeti. Our guide will do his best to track the migration so we can hopefully witness this amazing event. As nature is unpredictable however, we can never guarantee specific animal sightings.
