Craddock's Weekly Update

Happy Mother's Day to all the Craddock Moms out there! We know many of you are in the traditional role of a Mother, but many are not and we are grateful for each and every one of you! Our staff appreciates your endless support, kindness, generosity, patience and hard work! We see YOU!

I also want to make sure to share my gratitude for all the mothers on the Craddock staff. Whether they. are raising kids of their own or not, they are the most wonderfully patient, kind-hearted, compassionate group of educators who work so hard to help your children! We couldn't be any luckier! Happy Mother's Day to each and every one of them!

Unbelievably, we are beginning to wind down this wonderful school year. With just 14 days remaining, we have a lot of fun and excitement coming! Please check out the "Go Greenmen" spirit flyer down below. We started a tradition three years ago celebrating the last ten days of school and we once again invite all of our students to participate! Let us know if you have any questions!

We also invite all of our 2nd grade families to attend our 2nd grade program titled "Pajama Party." It will be held tomorrow, Monday, May 11th at the AHS Auditorium. We will have a show at 6:00 and another at 7:15. Please see the flyer below for all the specifics! This also came home last week! We got to rehearse on Friday and I can't wait for you to see it!

I began my message this week with gratitude and I'd to end it with some as well! The Craddock staff is so thankful for all the wonderful gestures, gifts and yummy reminders of how loved they are during Staff Appreciation Week! Thank you to Ashley Ingersoll, Craddock's PTO VP for all of her organizing and coordinating. In addition, thank you to all the volunteers who contributed items, helped with set up, etc. Again, all of the appreciation and thanks means the world to the MOST AMAZING group of educators there is!

This is how Mrs. Brezovec shared a grant funded by our wonderful PTO with her class this week!

Watching the Comeback Kids take the field this year has been a highlight of this second grade class I’ll never forget, but my pride goes far beyond the games at recess. What truly moved me was seeing how every single one of you embraced the spirit of inclusion this year; whether a student was officially on the roster or cheering from the sidelines, you made sure no one was left behind. You included everyone!!

In soccer, just as in life, the greatest victories come from understanding that we are part of something bigger than ourselves and that hard work is only meaningful when shared with others. Even though not everyone was on the team during the games at recess, we have operated as one cohesive classroom team all year long.

The Elementary PTO helped purchase a real jersey for everyone in this class! We are so thankful they could make this happen. I used a mix of designs from your comeback kids binder to create this special jersey. We’ve built a mountain of memories together, and this jersey is more than just a shirt—it is a symbol of our shared memories, our laughter, and the unbreakable bond of our classroom family.

All students schedules are currently available through the MyBus K-12 App. How to access the App is located on the ACSD website under Departments/Transportation on the right side of the webpage. I have included the link below.

If any student is needing to be picked up or dropped off other than their home location, they MUST fill out an alternate bus stop form before we can transport and return to us by email, fax or dropping off at the office. That form is located in the same area as listed below on the webpage and is also included below.
