BIG Volunteer Need: Cafeteria Crew
Let's show our teachers some love by giving them the gift of a little free time! Did you know that our teachers supervise lunch duty every day? That leaves them little time for a personal break, to make a phone call, or even take a bathroom break.😬 Just a few days a year, parent volunteers can step in to cover lunch duty. New This Year: Lufkin Food Pantry
We're excited to launch a food pantry to provide Lufkin students and their families with essential, high-need items — and we need your help to keep it stocked! We hope to collaborate with families, community members, and local groups to make this possible.
Volunteer Opportunity: Each month, we're looking for a volunteer to host a food drive. As a host, you'll collect items from our Needs List, either on your own or by engaging your network (neighborhood, workplace, church, or other groups). Join the Sidewalk Bolts Painting Team!
If you've got a steady hand, some artistic flair, or just a lot of school spirit, join our painting crew! Help paint the Lightning Bolt Walk of Fame. Family Fall Fest Oct 22: ISO Planning Volunteer!
Lufkin's annual Family Fall Fest is happening October 22 from 4-6 pm. This outdoor event (held in conjunction with the home football game against West Lake Middle) features food trucks, lawn games, and other family fun.
