Best Moments from RHHS Homecoming Parade

If there's one thing Texas high schools know how to do, it's Homecoming, and Rock Hill brought it last week! The Blue Hawks filled the streets for Wednesday's parade and cheered on their team against crosstown rival Walnut Grove. The school spirit was huge, but let's be honest: the mums might have been bigger. We love seeing our Blue Hawks celebrate their school community with unmatched energy and pride.

Check out the video above to relive the highlights from last Wednesday's Homecoming Parade!

Anyone who's had a bad night's sleep understands that not getting enough good sleep can affect just about everything.

Poor sleep affects our mood, energy level, and how well we can focus. It also affects the choices we make and how we interact with others, not to mention our metabolism and how well we can prevent illness and long-term health problems.

“When a child – or an adult – sleeps well, they’re much more likely to make better food choices and better choices in how they engage with friends and family. And that’s huge in terms of overall well-being,” says Michelle Caraballo, M.D., Pediatric Pulmonologist and Sleep Medicine Specialist at Children's Health and Associate Professor at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Caraballo, who is a parent of one neurotypical and one neurodiverse kid, spends her days helping kids – and parents – find effective ways to get better sleep.

Prosper Independent School District

BEST PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN TEXAS
Named by HEB's Excellence in Education Awards as the Best Large District in the State of Texas, Prosper ISD has an established 68-year history that is grounded in the humble roots of a farming community, now known for excellence in the arts, academics, and athletics. Our students and staff are routinely recognized on the local, state, and national levels for outstanding achievements, and our teachers are highly qualified experts who bring out the best in every student.

We are incredibly proud to share that Prosper ISD has officially been recognized as a Model Professional Learning Community (PLC) District by Solution Tree's Evidence of Effectiveness Committee. This is one of the most prestigious recognitions in education — and it belongs to every single person who shows up for our students every day.

This distinction is not given lightly. It is earned — through years of intentional collaboration, a relentless focus on learning, and a shared commitment to ensuring that every student in Prosper ISD has the opportunity to succeed at the highest levels.
