A Message from Superintendent Mr. Rose
Dear Wilson Families,
As another wonderful school year comes to an end, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many memories, accomplishments, and milestones we have shared together across Wilson schools. From the first day of classes to the final celebrations of the year, our students have continued to learn, grow, and make us proud every single day.
To our families, thank you for choosing Wilson and for trusting us to be part of your children’s educational journey. Your partnership, encouragement, and support play a vital role in the success of our schools. We are grateful for the strong relationships we have built together and for the continued support you show our students and staff.
I also want to extend my deepest appreciation to our incredible teachers, support staff, and administrators. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to students have made a lasting impact throughout the year. Whether inside the classroom, on the playground, in the cafeteria, or behind the scenes, your efforts help create a positive and caring environment where students can thrive.
As we head into summer, I hope our families take time to relax, recharge, and enjoy special moments together. While this school year has officially, we are already looking forward to beginning the 2026–2027 school year in August. We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another year filled with learning, growth, new opportunities, and continued success.
Thank you again for an amazing school year and for being an important part of the Wilson family. Have a safe and wonderful summer, and we will see you in August!
With appreciation,
Mr. Rose

Once A Wildcat, Always A Wildcat
We proudly celebrated the promotion of our eighth grade students as families, staff, and community members gathered to recognize this important milestone. The ceremony honored students for their hard work, achievements, and growth as they completed their middle school journey and prepared to enter high school next fall.
For many students, this moment marked the end of a journey that began at Wilson in kindergarten. Over the years, they have grown alongside their classmates, created lasting memories, and become an important part of the Wildcat family.
Wilson School District wishes all of its promoting eighth graders the very best as they begin high school in the upcoming school year. No matter where their future takes them, they will always be part of the Wilson family — because once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.
Wildcat Stars Shine Bright at Wilson Primary
Wilson Primary celebrated its kindergarten students during a special awards ceremony recognizing the completion of their very first year of school. Families, teachers, and staff gathered to honor students for their hard work, growth, and accomplishments throughout the school year.
During the ceremony, students were recognized for their academic achievements, positive attitudes, classroom participation, and strong Wildcat spirit. From learning letters and numbers to building confidence and independence, students made tremendous progress throughout the year.
As the ceremony came to an end, students celebrated not only the completion of kindergarten, but also the beginning of a new adventure as they prepare to enter first grade next school year. We cannot wait to welcome them back in August for more learning and growing! Onto first grade they go!
From Little Paws to Big Claws: Wildcats Pass the Torch
Wilson pride came to life as kindergarteners visited our 8th graders for our annual “Passing of the Torch” celebration. The event brought together our youngest and oldest students for a memorable moment filled with encouragement, kindness, and school spirit.
Kindergarten students shared handwritten letters and drawings, while our outgoing middle schoolers gifted flowers to our littles as a symbol of leadership and the journey ahead. The exchange represented one generation of Wildcats cheering on the next.
Families and staff watched proudly as students connected through smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments. For the kindergarteners, it was an exciting glimpse into the future. For the eighth graders, it was a reminder of how far they have come.
The special tradition highlighted what it truly means to be a Wildcat — supporting one another, celebrating growth, and passing the torch to the next generation.
Sun, Smiles, and Summer Meals Are Here!
The SUN Bucks Summer Program is back and ready to help families keep kids healthy, happy, and fueled for summer fun!
Children 18 years old and younger can enjoy free meals all summer long at eligible community meal sites. From breakfast to lunch, these healthy meals help students stay energized while school is out.
Families may also qualify to receive $120 per eligible school-aged child through SUN Bucks to help purchase nutritious groceries like fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and pantry essentials.
It’s all part of making sure children continue to have access to healthy food during the summer months — because full bellies help create bright smiles and active days.
