Questions

  • How students can be part of the AVID program?
Students must register for AVID class with their counselors.
  • Can students be in the AVID program and be in sports?
Yes, since AVID is part of a class and sports are after school.
  • Can a slow learning student be part of AVID?
Although in this class the student receives a grade if he can understand most of the material in the class, he can be part of it.
  • Could you implement the AVID program to elementary schools for early organization?
For now, the program is only implemented in high school and middle school. Eventually the plan is to have the program in all schools.

Comments

  • The AVID program is a very good program to implement in schools since it helps them with organization, self-esteem, and how to communicate with people. It helps students a lot to develop as people for a great future
