Principal's Message Principal's Message

Dear Jaguar Families,

In honor of Black History Month, our ASB is celebrating the rich history, achievements, and contributions of African Americans through daily announcements, highlighting influential figures who have shaped our world. This year, as a school that embraces the theme of Joy, Connection, and Belonging, we reflect on the powerful words and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His message of unity and love continues to inspire us to create a school environment where every student feels seen, valued, and connected. Through these daily tributes, we not only honor history but also reinforce our commitment to building a community rooted in kindness, understanding, and shared joyful experiences!

As we look ahead to March, our school is excited to celebrate Women's History Month, recognizing the incredible achievements and contributions of women throughout history. We will continue to highlight inspiring stories that reflect our theme of Joy, Connection, and Belonging, encouraging students to learn from the resilience and leadership of women who have shaped our world.

In addition, on March 4th, we take a moment to express our deep gratitude to our maintenance team for their hard work and dedication in keeping our school safe and welcoming. March is also National Athletic Training Month, an opportunity to recognize the vital role of athletic trainers in supporting student health and success in sports.

To round out the month with excitement, our Sadies Dance is set for March 28th! This is a great chance for students to come together, celebrate, and make lasting memories. Stay tuned for more details!

Students will document their Sock Babies' physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development as they care for them 24 hours a day 7 days a week for two school weeks. Throughout this process, students will gain an understanding of factors contributing to human development.
