RPMS Athletics Newsletter
Week of September 8th - September 12th
Message from the Athletic Director
Hello Rockets,
I hope you enjoyed your four-day weekend. I'm excited that all RPMS Athletic programs will be competing this week! That said, I want to share something that I've once heard a great colleague say: "Your social status is not connected to your son or daughter's athletic success."
Sports can be an integral part of physical, mental, and social development. However, it can also trap parents into treating their child's achievements as a personal badge of honor or a reflection of their own worth, robbing them of the pure joy they get from seeing their child doing what they genuinely love or taking on the challenge of joining a new program.
Parents, family members, loved ones, etc., I urge you to keep your student-athlete uplifted and encouraged as they navigate their middle school sports experience.
Lastly, if you are interested in participating in RPMS Athletic programs during the 2026-2027 school year, please head over to Final Forms to register. Coaches will be communicating information, upcoming development opportunities, calendars, etc. through Final Forms.
I encourage you to strive for excellence by competing in the classroom and on the playing surface. Continue to monitor communication from the coaching staff, and feel free to reach out to the main office or coaches with any questions. Have a week and GO ROCKETS! π
Sincerely,
Mr. Riley

Reeths-Puffer Athletics - Ticketing, Passes, and Schedules
Hello Rockets!
We are excited to share that Reeths-Puffer Athletics both high school and middle school has transitioned to Eventlink as our new athletics platform for everything related to Rocket Athletics!
If you have an athlete registered through FinalForms, you have likely already received an invitation from Eventlink. We wanted to take a moment to highlight this transition and share why we're so excited about it.
Please take a moment to review the attached flyer, which outlines the benefits of Eventlink and how it will make following Rocket Athletics easier than ever.
With Eventlink, you can:
- View athletic schedules
- Purchase tickets for home events (high school is all digital for athletics, middle school is still cash only)
- Receive schedule updates
- Access team and event informationβall in one place
To help you get started, we've included two helpful links:
- Eventlink Fan Page β Purchase tickets, view schedules, and follow Rocket Athletics.
- Eventlink Family β Subscribe to your athlete's practice and game schedules so they automatically sync with your personal calendar and receive text/email updates from schedule changes.
Our goal is to make it easier than ever for our families and fans to stay connected with Reeths-Puffer Athletics. We appreciate your support as we continue to improve the experience for everyone in our Rocket community.
Thank you, and Go Rockets! π

Per the RPMS Handbook: "An athlete must attend regular school classes one full day in order to practice or participate in an athletic contest that day, unless expressly excused by the principal, assistant principal, or athletic director prior to the absence."

Parents and student-athletes, a grade report will be collected and submitted to the coaching staff on Friday morning for any in-season student-athlete who is under a C- in any class. Students must be passing a minimum of five academic classes in the current marking period. Academic progress will be monitored by the Athletic Director, please ensure that you are competing in the classroom and on the playing surface.
Sports Physicals for 2026-2027
Required for all students (6th-8th grade) competing in RPMS Athletic Programs
Per MHSAA policies, a physical examination must be completed on or after April 15, 2026 to be considered a valid physical for the 2025-2026 school year.
Please note that your studentβs annual physical/medical history form (all pages) will need to be uploaded to Final Forms. For 6th-grade families, sports physicals SHOULD NOT be delivered to the Intermediate building.
Registration for 2026-2027 Sports is now open!
RPMS Athletics partners with FinalForms, an online service that allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. FinalForms saves data from season to season and year to year, meaning you will never need to enter the same information twice!
We are asking that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms. Please make sure youβre signed up to receive preseason, tryout, and practice information.
No Final Forms = Ineligible to Participate. π
