Good Afternoon Seniors and Families,

This morning we held our Senior Class Meeting which kicks off the final six weeks of the school year for our seniors.

We will share new editions of the Celtic Countdown over the coming weeks as important deadlines approach and with the details you need in preparation for commencement.

We can't wait to celebrate these milestone moments with everyone! Looking forward to it!

Important Dates for 2025 Dublin Jerome Seniors

April 4 - Senior Class Meeting - 4th period in the CPA; students only.

April 8-15: Kings Island Senior Trip tickets on sale - $50 online; must be purchased by April 15th in order to attend.

April 15 - 25: Prom tickets on sale - $35 per person online (no tickets will be sold at the door).

April 26: Prom - Saturday, April 26th from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm at The Ohio State University Student Union Ballroom (1739 N. High Street, Columbus 43210) (formal attire). Contact Mrs. Murphy at murphy_diane@dublinschools.net with any questions.

May 12: The Senior Awards Program - Monday, May 12th at 7:00 pm in the DJHS CPA.

The Senior Awards Program is a formal recognition of seniors who have received academic honors, and special awards (dressy casual attire). Invitations for students and their parents will be mailed home. Contact the DJHS Guidance Office at 614-718-8275 with any questions.

May 16: Senior Dinner - Friday, May 16th at 6:00 pm in the DJHS Commons (dressy casual attire). After dinner, there will be entertainment and senior superlatives will be awarded. This is an event for 2024 graduates only. Contact Mrs. Murphy at murphy_diane@dublinschools.net with any questions.

May 19: Senior Parade & Breakfast - More info to come on this soon!

May 20: Last Day for Seniors and the Kings Island Trip - Tuesday, May 20th. Report to school Aux gym by 7:30am. Contact Mrs. Murphy at murphy_diane@dublinschools.net with any questions.

May 21: Commencement Ceremony Practice (MANDATORY) - Wednesday, May 21st at 10:00 am in the DJHS Aux Gym. Students should arrive by 9:30 am to check the seating assignments (school-appropriate attire). This is the LAST DAY for seniors in good standing to attend school!

May 25: Commencement Ceremony - Sunday, May 25th at 1:30 pm at The Schottenstein Center (555 Borror Drive, Columbus 43210). Graduating seniors should report to the lower level dock area at the Schottenstein Center no later than 12:30 pm. Parents and guests do not need tickets to attend.

Required Attire: cap, gown, and tassel; choice of dress/pantsuit/skirt & top or light-colored shirt & tie with dress pants; dress sandals or dress shoes. Hair pins may be helpful to secure caps. Tassels should be worn on the right side prior to commencement.

Attire Not Permitted: tennis shoes, flip flops, flowers/corsages, purses, wearing or attaching anything to the cap or gown.

Parking: Each graduate will receive one parking pass during the Commencement Ceremony Practice. Students are to park in the Gray Lot in the NW corner off of Lane Ave. & Fred Taylor Dr. We encourage graduates to carpool if possible and to allow time for parking. Additional parking is $10 per car and handicapped parking is available. If you have further parking questions, please call the Schottenstein Center at 614-292-3231.

Senior Dinner - Submit Photos Now!

Senior Dinner is held on May 16th for students and is sponsored by Senior Cabinet. After dinner, Senior Superlatives are shared and a video is shown from photos sent in from families of all of our seniors. If you would like your student included in this, please email 2 photos of your senior to JeromeSeniorCabinet@gmail.com:

1 baby picture (jpeg format)
1 candid picture from either middle or high school (jpeg format)
*NOTE: If your photo is in paper form, please take a photo with a cell phone and then email.

The deadline to submit is Thursday, May 1.

Any submissions after this date will not be accepted. Thank you for contributing to the end of the year events for the class of 2025.

Senior Superlatives

Senior Booklet

The Senior Booklet is a small-yearbook that will be given to all of the Seniors at the Senior Dinner in May! It’s a great way to commemorate the Class of 2025, with every Senior’s picture and their answers to questions like “What is your Dream Job?” and “What are your Future Plans?”.

To get these responses and put the Booklet together, we need every Senior to fill out this form: Senior Booklet Google Form. It will also be sent out to Seniors in an email.

Please make sure to fill it out no later than 4/20!!

Kings Island Field Trip-Forms Updated!

The Jerome Senior Class has a special “Last Day of School” planned for seniors on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The Class of 2025 has a trip to Kings Island Amusement Park planned for May 20. Students leave Jerome by charter bus at 8am and return around 9pm. The cost for each student is $50 for the charter bus and park entry. The Senior Class covers any remaining costs. Food costs are not included - KINGS ISLAND IS CASHLESS.

Please fill out and return the below required Consent Form by no later than Tuesday, April 15th.

NHS

Parents of Seniors in National Honor Society-- proof of 30 service hours after induction must be submitted by April 15 on Innerview. Failure to submit proof will result in students not being recognized as NHS members at graduation. Ask your student about their current NHS status and have them look for an email from Ms. Pochodylo with more details!

Graduation Presenters

Any graduate of the Class of 2025 who has a relative who is an employee of DCS (full or part-time only, no substitutes or supplementals) may invite that relative to hand them their diploma at the Dublin Jerome Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 25th at 1:30 p.m. at the Jerome Schottenstein Center.

This form must be completed and submitted no later than Wednesday, May 7th 2025.

Message from Jostens

Attention Seniors: Jostens graduation caps, gowns, and other products are ready for delivery! Mike Dillon from Jostens will be at Dublin Jerome High School on Thursday, April 3rd, during lunch periods in the main lobby to distribute your items.

Important Reminders:

Mark this date in your planner, pickup your items during your lunch period.
Most orders have been fully paid, but please double-check your parents’ email to confirm there is no remaining balance on your account.
If you do have a balance due, final payments must be made by prior, to picking up your items.
Tolles Seniors – Mike from Jostens will bring your graduation items to the career center after the distribution at the high school is complete. The main office of your career center will call you down to pick up your items the next day.
