RICHMOND READS: THE WIZARD OF OZ
We are thrilled to announce our fourth annual Richmond Family Book Club! This year, we’re heading down the yellow brick road with L. Frank Baum’s timeless classic, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz—a captivating story about courage, heart, brainpower, and the true meaning of home. Our goal is to bring families together for joyful reading, meaningful conversations, and community connection.
To help every student participate, the Richmond PTO is sponsoring a copy of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz for every household, which was distributed during Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences.

FRIENDS OF ROCKET THEATRE
BECOME A SPONSOR AND GET A RESERVED SEAT
Dear Families,
One tradition in the drama world is thinking creatively with the supplies at hand. Buying secondhand, reusing old supplies, and repurposing found objects can make a show more exciting to watch.
One cost that cannot be avoided is securing the performance rights to a show. At Richmond, we have enjoyed putting on familiar titles over the years. These musicals use famous songs and characters from movies, books, and TV shows that both the students and the audience enjoy. However, these famous shows are more expensive to perform, and they get more expensive each year.
This year, we are offering special seat reservations for the Richmond musical. For each donation of $25, you can reserve a seat “along the Yellow Brick Road.” Ms. Smith will work with your child to reserve the best seat to see your student shine. Your family name will also be recognized in the program for your support.
If you would like to donate a more specific item, please see the link to our wishlist of items.
Thank you for your support,
Ms. Smith and Mr. Knaack
