April Updates: Testing, Field Trips, and More!
April is here, which means testing season is upon us! Please take note of the following important dates for the ACAP assessments:

Thursday, April 3 – 6th and 8th graders will take the Science portion.

Tuesday, April 8 & Wednesday, April 9 – All students will take the ELA portion.

Tuesday, April 16 & Wednesday, April 17 – All students will take the Math portion.
To support student success, please ensure your child gets a good night's sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives on time each morning so we can begin testing promptly.
8th Grade Career Prep Field Trip
Our 8th Grade Career Prep students have a unique opportunity to visit Auburn University on April 21 for a field trip focused on careers in agriculture. Students enrolled in Career Prep this semester should have received a permission slip—please return it as soon as possible. This is a fantastic chance for students to explore potential career paths!
Celebrating Positive Behavior
We are excited to celebrate students who have remained off all discipline tiers this nine weeks! Please encourage your child to continue making positive choices so they can enjoy this well-deserved recognition with their classmates in May.
Registration for the 2025-26 School Year
Registration packets for the 2025-26 school year will be sent home the week of April 21. Please read them carefully as you and your student make plans for the upcoming school year.
