Message from the Principal

Dear Lakeridge Families:

Our Hawks kicked off our second semester with a solid month of teaching and learning. Many students have enjoyed their new elective classes and have done a nice job of keeping up on their core classroom assignments. Overall students are on track and making excellent progress on end of year goals.

Hawk PRIDE has truly been on full display in the building this year. Hawk PRIDE stands for our guidelines for success which are the key characteristics we look for in our students. The letters of PRIDE stand for:

  • P - Preparation

  • R - Respect

  • I - Integrity

  • D - Determination

  • E - Excellence

To recognize our students’ positive impact on our school, we had our first Hawk PRIDE celebration on February 6th. This event was to celebrate our Hawks who earned five or more Hawk PRIDE recognition slips from staff members during 1st semester. We were ecstatic to celebrate over 200 students for all their hard work and doing their part to make LMS a WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) school. Students enjoyed the opportunity to hang out with their peers, enjoy a snack and participate in some quick games. We could not be prouder of our students. LMS staff are looking forward to recognizing even more students for our upcoming Hawk PRIDE celebration at the end of 3rd quarter.

While we know there are many reasons for these and many other student successes, the involvement of parents and families in their students’ learning is a significant factor in this growth. Thank you for all your hard work and support as we continue to strive to provide excellence for every student, every day.

With much appreciation,

Toby Udager

Principal

Spring Conferences Spring Conferences

Thursday, March 12

3:30 - 6:00 pm

Please join us for Lakeridge Middle School’s arena-style Parent Conferences on Thursday, March 13, from 3:30–6:00 p.m.

Focused Arena Conferences

Conferences will follow the arena-style format but within a shorter time frame than in the fall. Parents may meet with two to three teachers for structured five-minute sessions to discuss academic progress, strengths, and areas for growth. This format allows families to connect with multiple teachers in one setting for targeted, personalized conversations that support student success.

Meetings are first-come, first-served. To help reduce wait times, families are encouraged to attend during the time listed on the chart based on their student’s last name. If you have children with different last names or cannot attend at your assigned time, you are welcome to come at a time that better suits you during our event.

Fever Recommendation Reminder

Dear Parents and Guardians,

To help protect the health of all students and staff, we ask that you please keep your child home if they have a fever. Students may return to school only after they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications.

Keeping children home while they are ill helps prevent the spread of infection, supports faster recovery, and ensures a healthier learning environment for everyone.

We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our school community safe.

Sincerely,
Vincene Holter
