Introduction
Vision
Shared Responsibility
We value families as essential partners by:
Maintaining open, two-way communication about student progress and goals.
Including families in school decision-making and improvement planning.
Offering flexible ways for families to participate, such as curriculum nights, open houses, and conferences.
Providing a welcoming environment that encourages visits, volunteering, and collaboration.
Supporting Families
To help families engage in student learning, we will:
Host workshops and trainings on curriculum, expectations, and assessments.
Provide a Parent Resource Center with multilingual tools and learning materials.
Share timely updates on student progress through digital tools, meetings, and reports.
Connect families with community resources to support overall well-being.
Supporting Staff
To strengthen staff-family partnerships, we will:
Offer professional development on equity, cultural responsiveness, and communication.
Provide peer support and mentoring for staff.
Encourage teachers to collaborate with families as co-educators.
Identify and address barriers that may limit family participation.
Partnerships in Learning
Families, students, and staff will sign an annual compact outlining shared responsibilities for student success.
The school will gather and act on family feedback through surveys, forums, and advisory groups.
Regular dialogue will ensure trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Community Connections
We will partner with community groups, faith organizations, and service agencies to:
Support family needs beyond the classroom.
Plan events that strengthen relationships and connect families with helpful resources.
