Adventure Club Celebrates Lights On Afterschool

KSD Adventure Club celebrated Lights On Afterschool on Thursday, joining thousands of programs nationwide to highlight the importance of afterschool learning opportunities.

This year’s celebration featured a STEAM focus, with students exploring science, technology, engineering, art and creativity through hands-on activities. Using Makedo tools, students built structures and toys from cardboard. They also experimented with baking soda and turmeric to create hidden handprints and used circuit tape and batteries to make their artwork glow.

These engaging activities demonstrate how KSD Adventure Club keeps students learning, creating and discovering beyond the regular school day while providing a supportive environment for students and families.

Turkey Day Gear - On Sale Now from the KHS Class of 2029

There’s nothing quite like Turkey Day at KHS! The rivalry, the traditions, the school spirit and, of course, the chance to send the Webster Statesmen home without the Frisco Bell!

The 2026 Turkey Day apparel sale is a fundraiser for the KHS Sophomore Class! Our sophomores are working together to build a great class experience, and your support of the apparel sale helps make that possible. We truly appreciate every order! This year’s design was inspired by sophomore Ben Kundu, who took the time to hand-draw his idea and submit it for our 10th grade Turkey Day Design Contest. We appreciate his creativity and effort in helping bring this year’s design to life!

To purchase your Turkey Day gear, please visit the online web store.

Shipping orders are due November 9th, and pick up orderders are due November 15. Please plan ahead and order early as late orders cannot be accepted.
