Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY) is pleased to announce its new MPY Parenting Solutions Library. The MPY Parenting Solutions Library is offered at no charge, in partnership with Peace At Home Parenting Solutions, a non-profit. Peace At Home Parenting Solutions is a dynamic hub of trusted knowledge and compassionate support that inspires parents to create positive change for their children, their families and themselves. Through this new partnership, MPY is pleased to offer proven resources to help students’ familiesthrive. The video trainings are presented by experts with

advanced degrees and present easy-to-use strategies for long-lasting change.

The Home Parenting Solutions Library may easily be accessed using the

link on MPY’s home page (mpyinc.org) No log in or passcode is needed.

Author Visit

On November 22nd we will have our annual author visit. This year Vera Ahiyya former Davis Kindergarten teacher will be coming. She will be reading from her book Kindergarten, all about being kind in Kindergarten!

The Davis School Votes are In!

On November 4th, Davis School had our own Day of Voting. All students were able to come and cast their ballot. The winning choice for Davis School was - A Day of Play on November 27th. Classroom teachers will determine how this will look in their classroom.

A friendly Reminder: If you need to exempt your child from PE class for any given amount of time, you need to provide a note from your child's doctor.

Please remember to label your student's jackets, coats, and hats so that we are able to return them to their rightful owner, should they be sent to the Lost and Found. Thank you!

SEPAC News

Paint Night!

Bedford SEPAC is looking forward to a Caregiver Night Out at Pinot's Paint in Lexington center on Sunday 11/24/2024 from 5-7 pm. We look forward to a fun and relaxing evening together. $25 participation fee requested. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Bedford Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. The $25 fee will help to offset the remainder cost of event which will be partially covered by SEPAC. BEST Fall Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Rebecca's Nut Free Cookie Fundraiser is back! BEST PTO is partnering with Rebecca’s Nut-Free (located in Ipswich) to offer you gourmet cookie dough for the fall and holiday season. Students will receive an order form for cookies or orders can be placed directly online here. Students can register online and share the link to their own store page with friends and family! Orders can be placed through November 22nd. Cookie dough can be shipped to your home (shipping charges apply) or shipped for free to the BEST PTO on Wednesday, December 4th. Students will pick up orders at dismissal and the students' families will distribute their orders. Additional details about distribution will be sent out towards the end of November.
