Congratulations Class of 2026

On the evening of June 3, 2026, the room was filled with an overwhelming sense of pride, triumph, and emotional celebration as we honored the East Hartford Adult Education Graduating Class of 2026.

For these graduates, the path to the stage was not a straight line—it was a mountain climbed. Every single diploma awarded represents a profound story of perseverance, grit, and unwavering dedication. Our graduates didn't just study for exams; they balanced textbooks with full-time jobs, attended classes after exhausting shifts, managed household bills, and cared for their families. They proved that it is never too late to rewrite your story, and that no obstacle is too great when fueled by a dream for a better tomorrow.

The moving ceremony was shared with proud families, friends, and dedicated teachers who cheered, wept, and stood in awe of what these students achieved. We were also honored to be joined by distinguished guests, including Mayor Connor Martin, Assistant Superintendent Ellen Delgado, Board of Education Chair Tyron Harris and Vanessa Jenkins who all gathered to applaud the immense sacrifice and success of this remarkable cohort.

To the Class of 2026: You have shown our community what true strength looks like. You didn’t just graduate; you triumphed. We cannot wait to see where your hard-earned wings take you next. Congratulations!
