Message from Mr. Beierman
Hello Twin Bluff Middle School families!
I hope you have enjoyed some quality family and relaxation time over the holiday break. We are about to start a new calendar year with the same expectations that we shared way back at the beginning of the school year in September of 2025. Our expectations for students and staff at Twin Bluff Middle School are to strive to be Safe, Kind, and Responsible, every day and in every way.
Mrs. Seleski and I will meet with all students upon our return and remind them that, although it’s a brand-new calendar year, the expectations remain the same. We will be Safe~ we will keep our bodies under control and give each other personal space. We will be Kind~ we will speak to each other as we would like to be spoken to, and we will lift each other up. We will be Responsible~ we will think about our actions and how they might affect others. We will own our behavior and apologize when we make mistakes.
When we kick off 2026 with students on January 5th, we will continue to use and remind students to consistently use the concept of saying “please” and “thank you” when we speak to one another. Yes, I know it sounds very simplistic, but it’s lacking in our society, so our staff will model the behavior and ask the students to do the same. This simple act will support our Kind expectation and will help us communicate more clearly and accurately. Feel free to practice this with your student over the last weekend of holiday break!
I look forward to working with you and supporting your child to achieve their maximum potential. Our staff is dedicated to inspiring our students and making their experience at Twin Bluff Middle School a positive and productive one.
Stay warm, stay kind, and take care of one another.
Be safe, well, and Happy New Year!
Patrick Beierman, Principal

Flight Path 2030 Community Forum is Jan. 12
Red Wing Public Schools has rescheduled the Flight Path 2030 Community Forum to Jan. 12, 2026. Postponed due to harsh winter weather last month, this special event will delve into our district's five-year journey to become a Center of Excellence in AI-Integrated Computing Education — and we want you to be part of it.
- What to expect: The evening kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in Hovda Hall with an engaging fireside chat featuring two inspiring experts — Jennifer Rosato, director of the Northern Lights Collaborative for Computing Education at the University of Minnesota; and Hannah Weissman, manager of Strategic Initiatives at Data Science 4 Everyone (DS4E) based at the University of Chicago
- When and where: Red Wing High School doors open at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by great conversation with fellow community members. We will offer a snack bar in the cafeteria.
- Why come? This forum marks the beginning of an important community conversation about Flight Path 2030 — our vision that every Winger will graduate digitally fluent, ethically grounded, and future-ready. Come discover why this initiative matters and how it's already creating new opportunities for Red Wing students.
- What if it winter strikes again? We will shift to a virtual option.
We'd be delighted to see you there! Registrations are encouraged but not required. RSVP today via the button below or email communications@rwps.org.

Reminders From School Nurse
Any student that will be taking prescription medications at school will need an Authorization to Administer Medication form signed by a parent and a provider. Medication is required to be in the original container with the most recent prescription label. Medical Conditions such as Asthma, Seizures, Diabetes, Etc will need an action plan from the student's provider as well. Any student that is found to have a medication that is not pre-approved by the nurse will have medication confiscated and parents will be called.
All 7th graders needed to have a TDAP booster and a Meningococcal immunization or a Conscientious Objection on file in the Health Office prior to the start of the school year. Any 7th grader that does not have these immunizations are considered out of compliance. Please bring paperwork to the school nurse showing proof of these immunizations or a notarized Conscientious Objection. If you need a Conscientious Objection notarized, please contact the school nurse to arrange an appointment to have that notarized.
The Health Office always accepts donations such as period products and deodorant. We are also in need of t-shirts, pants, underwear and socks for both boys and girls in all sizes. Thank you
Winter Gear
If you have any winter gear you would like to donate, we will gladly take them off your hands! We could use larger sizes in snowpants, boots and winter coats. Thank you for considering!
Early Pick-Ups & End-of-Day Changes
If your child needs to leave early or you have an end-of-day change to communicate, please notify the office in the morning. End of day messages are difficult as students may be outside for PE, at recess, or in band. The earlier you can notify us, the better. Thank you for your cooperation!
Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
All student drop-off and pick-up takes place in the upper lot off of Twin Bluff Road.
Please note: The lower/back lot off of Pioneer Road is reserved for buses only.
Attendance
To report an absence, a late arrival, or if your student needs to be picked up early, please call the attendance line at 651-385-4550 or email tbmsattendance@rwps.org.
