Dear SHS Families,

With the buzz and excitement surrounding the BASH this Saturday, it’s easy to overlook all the amazing things happening around the school this week. We had constellation projects reported, books published, landforms to learn about, and special lessons taught by students. These, sprinkled with a guest principal, puppet show, and continual preparations for the BASH, certainly made for a busy week. We look forward to opening our doors this weekend to raise money to support this special school. I want to thank all of those who make this event possible, and pray for an impactful evening filled with joy and generosity.

Looking ahead to next week, remember that there is no school on Monday as the school is put back in order following the BASH. Tuesday will be our birthday lunch, where we will celebrate all of our students with both May and June birthdays. On Thursday, students will have the opportunity to present flowers to the statue of Mary in the church as we celebrate the Month of Mary this May. Following Mass, we will be having Muffins with Moms in the Parish Hall. Thursday evening, at 6:30, we will be having our Spring Concert at OMA. I hope to see you there to hear the music prepared by Mrs. Childs and our SHS students.
