Week 2
Week 3
Achievement Assembly after the holidays
If you are attending achievement assembly on a Friday morning, once you have dropped your child at their classroom door, parents/carers are kindly requested to make their way round to the front of school and queue from the car park gate post along Wrose Road until the doors are opened. A member of staff will let you know when the doors are open to enter school. Please do not queue across the car park as this poses a safety risk.
Also, if you have to leave the assembly a little early, then a member of staff will be on the corridor outside both halls to let you out.
Thank you for your support in this.

Family Breakfast
On Tuesday, we held our half termly family breakfast. As always, it was very busy with a lovely buzz in the hall. Thank you to everyone who attended. We hope you enjoyed it!
Nursery Stay and Play
This week Nursery pupils made chocolate egg nests. The Easter Bunny then visited before the Easter Stay and Play and delivered a chocolate treat on top of our Easter nests! The children were very excited to see what he had brought them!
Thank you to all the parents who came to our Easter Stay and Plays! It was so lovely to see you joining in with all of our activities!
Reception Art Gallery
Yesterday, the school hall was transformed into an art gallery to showcase some beautiful work from our Reception pupils.
Year 3 Ilkley Trip
For the past two week, Year 3 have been exploring the River Wharfe in Ilkley as part of their Geography unit on rivers. As mentioned by a member of the public, they were a credit to our school.
Year 4 York residential
Last week Year 4 children had a wonderful experience in York which included visiting Jorvik, making Viking boats and walking along the city walls.

Eat Them to Defeat Them 2026 – Parents & Carers Feedback Survey
"Veg Power" needs support from schools. They have asked whether parents and carers can complete the Eat Them to Defeat Them 2026 Bradford feedback survey. Your feedback will help Veg Power learn and improve as they work to better support families in getting children to eat more vegetables. This feedback will also guide the organisation's Living Well School Eating Well key priority, which aims to help schools build a culture of Eating Well within and beyond the school day through a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
The survey should only take 5-10 minutes to complete and every entry will gain a chance to win one of five £50 shopping vouchers, plus a chance for Low Ash to win £250 (most surveys gathered). Prizes are exclusive to parents/careers and schools in Bradford.
The deadline for the survey is 31st April 2026 and you can complete it by clicking the link below.
The Schools' Prom
On Wednesday evening the choir took to the stage at St. George's hall as part of the 2026 Schools' Prom. They attended a rehearsal in the morning and joined with lots of other schools to put on a fantastic show.
Sporting Update
The under 9s played a mini tournament against Blakehill Primary this week. All four teams did brilliantly with lots of great football on show and some great goals being scored. Everybody enjoyed the game.
A special mention to the Year 2 and Year 3 boys who were representing Year 4. This was a great experience for our boys and the future looks bright at Low Ash. Well done all!
Online Safety Update - streamers
Live streaming has become a big part of the entertainment people consume. With over 2.5 million people accessing Twitch for example, it's important to remain aware of the risks associated with streamers.
A reminder that all of our guides can be found on the online safety page of the website.
We hope you all have a lovely Easter break and we will see you on Monday 13th April.
