Senior Exit Presentations
Dear Senior Parent or Guardian,
Senior Exit Project Presentations are the culmination of a five year career planning process. Through the career planning process, all Linden students are given the opportunity to begin career exploration and planning at the end of their seventh grade year. Starting in eighth grade, your child created an electronic Educational Development Plan (EDP) which has been updated annually through their senior year of high school. The capstone activity in this process is the Senior Exit Presentation. This presentation is meant to answer three questions:
Who am I?
Where am I going?
How am I going to get there?
Your student is currently in the process of finalizing this project or starting their senior exit presentation in their senior English classes. This year, students will be presenting their presentation in their senior English class along with their peers. Parents and guardians have the opportunity to view their student’s presentation via Zoom. Your student’s World Literature English teacher has sent communication regarding the Zoom link, as well as, your student’s presentations date and time frame of their presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to view the plan they have developed for life after high school.
Students that do not have World Literature in their schedule (AP students, EMC, Online, LAA, etc), parents and students will receive communication regarding their presentation date and time frame from Mr. Day or Mrs. Fuller via email.
In addition, for career exploration and planning resources please see Big Future College Board, O*Net Online, Pure Michigan Talent Connect Career Explorer and Skilled Trades websites and Michigan Hot 50 Jobs and Michigan Career Outlook.
If you have any questions please contact Heather Fuller, EDP Coordinator at hfuller@lindenschool.org or phone (810) 591-0457.

Medical excuses MUST be submitted within one (1) week of the date(s) of the absence(s). Documentation MUST include a diagnosis of the illness and specific date(s) the student could not attend school.
ALL absences MUST be reported to the school in writing by a parent. Absences MUST be reported within 48 hours from the day the student returns to school. Excuse notes received after 48 hours WILL NOT excuse the absence. Absences NOT calculated in the absence procedure include:
