News from Ms. Ricks, Principal
Dear Wolman Families,
We have enjoyed another great week of learning at Wolman! A huge thank you goes out to all of our families who attended Curriculum Night on Tuesday. Your participation and involvement help us continue to build strong home-school partnerships that are so important to the success of our Explorers. We also want to extend a special thank you to everyone who supported our annual Read-a-Thon. It was a huge success, and we are grateful for the enthusiasm of our students, families, and community in supporting a love of reading at Wolman!
There are lots of wonderful and fun events coming up, including our upcoming Book Fair! Please take some time to carefully review the sections below for important campus, district, and PTA information, as well as details about upcoming events.
As a reminder, tomorrow is a student holiday while our staff participates in professional learning. Our teachers and staff are highly dedicated to continually improving their instructional practices and expanding their teaching skill sets so they can provide the very best learning experiences for our Explorers. We are looking forward to a productive day of learning and collaboration for our staff!
Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership. We hope all of our Wolman families enjoy a wonderful extended weekend!

Procedures Regarding Lunch Visitors
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B44AFAD2EA5FEC61-50123640-wolman#/
Lunch is a fun, social time of day for our Explorers! Any parents who wish you attend lunch may use the link above to sign up. As a reminder only parents/guardians, non-school aged children and immediate family listed on the lunch visitor permission form are able to visit for lunch. Due to limited space, visitors are limited to 2 visitors per student (non school age children are counted as visitors). Each parent must sign up for their own seat and a separate seat for any non school age siblings.
Here are some reminders for when lunch visits begin...PLEASE REMEMBER when signing up to include your child's name and teacher in the comments. All visitors must show a physical, hard copy government issued ID (driver's license or passport) when you arrive for lunch. We ask that each student be limited to having a lunch visit one day per week to allow all Explorers the opportunity to have a lunch visit. If you are not able to come to lunch after you signed up, please remove your name from the list. Also, please be aware that a few minutes prior to your child's lunch time ending, the monitors will direct your child to join his/her class; this helps with making our cafeteria exit procedures run more smoothly. The following steps will guide you in signing up for lunch times to visit your child and with providing lunch visitor permission. Please call 281 234 1700 with any questions. Thank you!
Step 1:
Please sign up for date/time of lunch visit here: Link
If needed...
Step 2:
For immediate family visitors (limited to grandparents, non-school aged siblings, and stepparents) who are NOT the parents/guardians the online Lunch Visitor form must be filled out by the parent/guardian BEFORE the lunch visit. Link

Volunteer of the Month: Lucia Chacon
Lucia has been an active and dedicated member of our PTA ever since her family moved to our community. This year, she jumped right in to help before the school year even began—and she hasn’t slowed down since!
While Lucia officially serves as our Yearbook Business Manager, Workroom Co-Chair, and PTA Marketing Chair, those titles only begin to describe everything she does. She is always willing to step in wherever she is needed, generously giving countless hours of her time, creativity, and support to help our PTA succeed.
Lucia wears many hats—wife, mom, volunteer, leader, and friend to our PTA—and we are incredibly grateful for the time she gives while balancing them all.
Lucia, thank you for showing up, pitching in, and making a difference in so many ways. We also extend a special thank-you to her family for sharing her with us and supporting the countless hours she dedicates to our school and PTA.
We appreciate you, Lucia, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our PTA family!
