Greetings, Laker Families-
We are in the home stretch and finishing strong! State testing is complete for our 3rd-5th graders and benchmark testing is finished for all K-5. So proud of our students for being resilient and persevering! Thank you again for all your support encouraging them to do and be their personal best! As we plan for the last 2 ½ weeks of school, please remember the changes to the next two Monday schedules:
June 12 – The school day will be 9:00am-1:45pm
June 19 – No School (Juneteenth holiday)

Mon. Student Day (90-min late start day): 10:35-3:45 (drop off can begin at 10:20)

6/12 – 9:00-1:45pm school day (early dismissal rather than a late start Monday)
6/15 – 5th grade Celebration (yearbooks distributed)…12:15-3:00
6/16 – Walk to School from the Park (see flier from Mr. Holme)
6/19 – Juneteenth (no school)
6/20 – Yearbooks distributed for K-4
6/20 – Kindergarten Celebration…1:45-2:15
6/21 – Field Day
6/22 – LAST Day of school…12:15 early release (No lunches served)

Our June Laker Purposefull People Character Trait is “Kindness…The choice to act with words, gifts, or actions to bring appreciation, positivity, and encouragement to ourselves and others.” Your follow up at home reinforcing your child as he/she demonstrates “kindness” each day would be a wonderful home-school connection. Be sure to ask your kiddos about Kindness Coins and how they are demonstrating “kindness” throughout their day!
