Academy Avenue Elementary School

Dear Academy Families and Friends,

One week into the new year! While it's cold outside, things are really cooking this month. Clubs are back with several starting last week and a few more beginning this week. We had our first AAPC meeting of the month and there's so many great things in store. There is also a link to the community spotlight below inthe "Just in" Section of our newsletter to share events in the district as well.

Tomorrow is the 80th day of the school year...so we're doing a dress like an 80s day...This month we'll continue working on the winter benchmark assessments and ACCESS testing to get a snapshot of our students' growth and progress.

Have a great night and Let's Goooo Patriots!!!

Mr. Patrick J. Higgins

Principal
