Principal Weekly Message
Greetings Rincon Community,
I hope this message finds you well! As we reflect on the past week, I am filled with pride and gratitude for all the inspiring events that have taken place at our school, demonstrating the spirit and dedication of our community.
Rincon Unleashed
We ended the week with our Rincon Unleashed event, welcoming our incoming Bulldogs! It was wonderful to see so many excited faces as we introduced our new students to the Rincon family. This event not only provided a great opportunity for connection but also set the tone for a fantastic school year ahead.
PUP Dance
Later in the week, we celebrated our PUP (Peers Uniting Peers) event, marking our first-ever dance designed specifically for our special population. Our mentor students were instrumental in creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that everyone had a memorable experience. It was heartwarming to see our students come together and support one another in such a meaningful way.
WEB Leaders Spring Play Day
Also this week, our new WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) leaders gathered for their first Spring Play Day. This event serves as the beginning of their training for the upcoming school year, and it was great to see their enthusiasm and commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all students at Rincon.
Mid Trimester Three Update
As we reached the end of mid-trimester 3, I want to remind you that we have just six weeks remaining in this school year. These final weeks are crucial as we prepare for the upcoming testing period, which begins on April 27th. We encourage our students to stay focused and demonstrate all that they have learned this year.
Together, let's embrace the exciting weeks ahead and ensure a fantastic finish and. Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich
What's Happening!
6th GRADERS ACHIEVE THEIR GOAL!
WAY TO GO 6TH GRADERS! THEY HIT THEIR GOAL!
Taking action to make the world a better place.
Exciting times at our first ever, Rincon Unleashed! On Friday we welcomed our incoming 5th and 6th graders to a truly unforgettable afternoon that went beyond a typical orientation. Our campus buzzed with energy as our amazing WEB leaders guided personalized tours, making each new Bulldog feel right at home! Special thanks to our PUPS who supported our special population groups and our ASB students for tackling all those burning questions with helpful answers. Our incoming Bulldogs got a taste of adventure during their campus tours and exploring unique After School Explore classes like Color Guard and Skateboarding, and they were in awe of our epic Esports room! This year was particularly special as we bused in over 300 eager students from Reidy Creek, North Broadway, Conway, Lincoln, and Rock Springs — marking inaugural event, known now as RINCON UNLEASHED, as the start of a cherished tradition. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this day possible! Here’s to new beginnings and the bright futures of our Rincon Bulldogs!
