CHICAGO FIELD TRIP
A group of our high school Spanish and Art students visited the Art Institute of Chicago last week! While there, students walked to the Cloud Gate (the bean) at Millennium Park. Afterward, the group split in two for lunch and Spanish students visited a Venezuelan Restaurant, trying out arepas and ordering in Spanish. Students then had the opportunity to explore the art museum and works of art and visit a temporary exhibit showcasing works of art created by Frida Kahlo. What a great day!
MARCH MAMMAL MADNESS
March Mammal Madness concluded last week with Polar Bear as the champion! The 6th Graders filled in a March Mammal Madness bracket after doing some animal research. They then watched videos of each round of the competition to find out who the winners were. These students were the top three winners of each section. Congrats!
