Wrangler Round Up
9/4/26
Principal's Message
Howdy Wranglers!
We are off to a great start! Our students are settling into the school year, working hard, learning new things, and showing up ready to be part of our school community. We are especially excited as football and volleyball seasons get underway! Our athletes have been putting in the work, and we are proud of the dedication and effort they are showing. Be sure to come out and support our Wranglers!
Student clubs are coming soon!
We will be getting our clubs up and running in the near future, giving students even more opportunities to connect with others, explore their interests, and get involved at HMS. Be on the lookout for more information about club offerings and how students can sign up.
🚗 Dismissal & Safety Reminders
For the safety of our students, Uber, Lyft, and other ride-sharing services are not permitted to pick students up on campus at dismissal or after school events. Please make sure students have an approved transportation plan for getting home.
Please be mindful of your speed when driving in the pick up loops and/or dropping off food for athletes in the back. Drivers should never be going above 20 mph at any time while on school grounds for the safety of our students and staff.
Thank you for continuing to support our students and our school. We are excited about all that this year has in store for our Wranglers! Let’s keep showing up, working hard, and doing things the Wrangler Way!
Warmly,
Linda Cragin, Principal

Counselor's Corner
In Lewisville ISD, the whole child is at the core of everything we do as a district,
including our students' mental, emotional and physical health. With counselors
on every campus, LISD knows parents want their children to receive an
outstanding education, but more importantly, they want their children to be
nurtured and cared for beyond just academics.
LISD provides student wellness lessons over various topics throughout the year to ensure each child receives the support they need to develop every aspect of their being. Parents can preview student wellness lessons provided by the Counseling Department by visiting the link below.

Parents, if you are interested in receiving food for the weekends or over breaks, please reach out to Ms. Gonzalez. She is in charge of the CIS program on campus and helps provide basic needs resources to families. She is bilingual and can assist your family in English or Spanish!
