A Message from Dr. Hoffman, Interim Superintendent A Message from Dr. Hoffman, Interim Superintendent

It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the final week of the 2025-2026 school year.

Next week, we’ll celebrate our graduates as they walk across the stage and step into the next chapter of their lives. To the Class of 2026, congratulations! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished, and we can’t wait to see what you do next.

And to every student across the district, thank you for your hard work this year. You showed up, you grew, and you made our schools better places.

As we head into summer break, I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff, families, Board members, and the entire community for your partnership and support. It is truly a privilege to serve the Quakertown community and to be part of the meaningful work happening in our schools every day.

While our students and staff enjoy some well-deserved rest, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes this summer. Our teams will be running summer programs, moving forward with construction and facility projects, finalizing staffing, and preparing for a strong start to the 2026-2027 school year.

This is our last weekly newsletter until August. We’ll stay in touch through monthly updates over the summer to keep you informed about important dates, back-to-school information, and everything you need to prepare for the fall.

Wishing each of you a safe, joyful, and restful summer. Congratulations again to the Class of 2026. We’re cheering for you!

Dr. Lisa Hoffman

A week of making memories

It was a wonderful week of making memories one last time before we say goodbye to the Class of 2026. Seniors enjoyed visiting their former elementary schools, a fabulous picnic at Alumni Field, and an awards celebration honoring our seniors for their outstanding accomplishments. It was a week filled with saying goodbye to the Quakertown Community School District and preparing for their next chapter.

Senior Picnic

Seniors enjoyed an afternoon filled with great food, games, and making memories one last time at Alumni Field for the Senior Picnic.

Students played a variety of games and activities, including an inflatable obstacle course, relaxed with friends, and cooled off with delicious Rita's Italian Ice, generously provided by the Quakertown High School Alumni Association.

This special tradition gives our seniors an opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments, reflect on their years at Quakertown Community School District, and enjoy one another's company before graduation and the next chapter of their lives begins.

Senior Awards and Scholarship Night

On the evening of June 2, the auditorium at Quakertown Community High School was filled with proud families, dedicated staff members, community partners, and excited seniors as we celebrated the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 during our annual Senior Awards and Scholarship Night.

A total of 111 graduating seniors were recognized for their outstanding achievements, receiving more than 175 awards and scholarships. Thanks to the incredible generosity of local organizations, businesses, families, and community members, over $150,000 in scholarship support was awarded to help students pursue their educational and career goals beyond high school.

This special evening highlighted not only the hard work and dedication of our graduates, but also the strong support network that surrounds them. The investment made by our community partners will have a lasting impact as they begin the next chapter.

Thank you to all of the donors, scholarship sponsors, and community organizations whose continued commitment helps make these opportunities possible. Your support is a testament to the strength of the Quakertown community and its dedication to empowering future generations.

Senior Strut

This week, our graduating seniors participated in the "Senior Strut," where they returned to their former elementary schools: Neidig, QE, Pfaff, Richland, and Trumbauersville to walk the hallways and see former teachers.

Seniors were welcomed with cheers, high-fives, and smiles from current students celebrating their upcoming graduation. For some seniors, the day was especially meaningful as they reunited with younger siblings currently attending their former schools. A few even celebrated the occasion with a piggyback ride through the hallways, hugs from former teachers, meaningful photos, and, at Trumbauersville, a special song from their kindergarteners, "I'm ready to go!"

These visits provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far our seniors have come and to inspire our youngest learners as they continue their own educational journeys.
