Welcome Back, Falcons! 🦅
We are so excited to welcome you back to campus! For the next two days, we’ll ease into the school year with 35-minute classes. This will give us a chance to reconnect, settle in, and enjoy some of our favorite Andrew Hill traditions together.
Take this time to get to know your teachers, classmates, and campus routines. Let’s start strong, stay kind, and support each other every step of the way.
We’ll begin our first full week of regular classes next week. Get ready for a great year ahead!

Special First Week of School Schedule
First day of classes is on Thursday, August 7 with a special schedule.
Singleton Parking Lot gates will be closed at 9:00am everyay. The pedestrian gate on Singleton will stay open until 9:30 am.
Special First Week Schedule includes:
- 35 minute classes
- All classes
- Early dismissal to have staff meetings on both days
Student Union and all offices will be closed at 2:10pm for Staff Meetings. The office will reopen the next day at 8:00 a.m.

We will be implementing a new lunch serving system using Minga during brunch and lunch.
To make sure the process is smooth and efficient, please have the Minga app downloaded, logged in, and ready for scanning when you get your meals.

Welcome back, Falcons! We're kicking off the school year with a fun-filled week of activities to celebrate our Andrew Hill community and the amazing programs we have on campus. Staff and students are encouraged to participate and help bring our Falcon family together!
Daily Activities:
- Monday: Sticky Note Wall of Goals, Kindness Card Drop, & Compliment Tag
- Tuesday: Welcome Back Relay Race
- Wednesday: Can I Get Your Autograph? – Sign your Welcome Back Class Banner!
- Thursday: Welcome Back Resource Fair & Rally (1:45–3:30 PM)
- Friday: Welcome Back Carnival (3:00–4:30 PM)

🧭 Freshmen Orientation Recap
On Friday, August 1, 2025, thirty-five amazing Link Leaders welcomed approximately 250 freshmen to Andrew Hill during our annual Freshmen Orientation!
📦 If you are a freshman who did not receive your welcome gift, please stop by Room 407 to pick it up!
Picture Day: Save the Date! Picture Day will be on Friday, September 26, 2025.

You can now Purchase Athletic Game Tickets ONLINE
Tickets will be $1 more for each ticket purchase. You can also scan the QR Code.
🙌 Senior Section
Senior Sunrise:
~65 seniors kicked-off their senior year on the football field this morning at Senior Sunrise! They came together to watch the sunrise on their senior year & had an opportunity to write their senior letters. Senior letters will be given back to seniors at the Senior Pool Party! If you are a senior who would like participate, come to room 407! If you have any questions, please ask a senior officer or Miss Hoang!
Interclub Council
August Interclub Council Meeting: Save the Date! Interclub Council will have it's first meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 during lunch in Dahl Hall. Learn more about constitution updates, club policies and procedures and upcoming events. Please send your cabinet!
Class/Club Advisor Meeting: Save the Date! Advisors, please come to Dahl Hall on Monday, August 18, 2025 during lunch for class/club advisor updates. Your time here will be added to your supervision hours!
Club Day - Club Rush, and Club Carnival: This year, Club Day will be on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Club Rush will take place during lunch in the main quad. It is an opportunity for you to meet and greet, and join a club of your choice. After-school there will be Club Carnival where you can meet advisors & club members, play games, enjoy music, and buy snacks from 3:30-5:00 PM in the main quad before open house!
Yearbook: Calling all students! Interested in making memories? Expressing yourself creatively? Taking photos? Editing skills? Learning real-world skills you can apply to your next job? Yearbook is looking for new staffers. All positions are open! Come to room 407 after 6th period on Thursdays! Look for Miss Hoang. For more information, come to room 407.
