Forest Mascot Redesign

Dear Forest Community,

We are excited to announce a new initiative to redesign our school mascot. This year, we will embark on a collective process that will involve students, staff and families to participate in creating a new symbol that will represent our unique learning community.

The goal of this redesign is to create an animal mascot that is inclusive, inspiring and reflective of our school culture and unique identity. We believe in the importance of involving our entire community in this process from beginning to end. And our hope is that it will ensure that the final design is truly meaningful and resonates with everyone.

Here’s what you can expect: We will keep our original animal mascot, the falcon. The district’s Communications Department will develop a few options that will reflect an update of our mascot design that will be shared out via a survey most likely in spring of 2025. Your ideas and suggestions will play a crucial role in shaping this design. It will be our hope that we will share the final mascot and logo design by the end of the school year.

We are excited to begin this process and look forward to your support and involvement. Stay tuned for updates in the coming months!

Thank you!
