Dear Stewart Elementary Community,

We look forward to our K-3 students proving how much they know next week on their Acadience Math.

Here are the 3 things you need to know:

1. Chess Club registration is open. Turn in forms and money to the front office.

2. Please have your student check the Lost and Found. We have numerous coats and hats in there. Anything left at Winter Break will be donate.

3. Papa Murphy's Spirit Day is on Wednesday. We appreciate the PTA and the community support of these events.

• Monday, January 5 - Teachers Return to School
• Tuesday, January 6 - Students Return to School

We need volunteers to help set up the Chinese Lanterns each student will make for our annual Chinese New Year celebration. If you are able to come to the school that Thursday, January 29th when school starts to help string and hang up the lanterns, please reach out to Leslie Chan (801-927-7970)

Mrs. Hooper has started a book club to discuss the Book Battle Books. You don't need to participate in Book Battles to join the book club. Come eat snacks and discuss great books with other 5th and 6th graders.

Each month students have a chance to earn 4 brag tags. One for the monthly mission, monthly reading, math and monthly attendance.

December – Operation: Community Care

Mission: Help someone in your school or community feel supported this month.
Bonus Challenge: Give back through a class or school service project.
