Dear Parmenter Families,

It’s been a busy and emotional week at Parmenter. Between our 5th grade celebration, the kindergarten concert, and lots (and lots) of packing, we’re definitely feeling the weight of these final days. What has been especially heartwarming is how eager and helpful our students have been, lending a hand to their teachers with packing (in all the appropriate ways, of course!).

While there is plenty to do, we’re doing our best to stay present, soak in these moments, and cherish the time we have left together.

We know many families are eager to visit their new school buildings, and this is a priority for us as well. We’re committed to offering opportunities for students and families to tour the buildings in late summer—once they are fully ready and staff have had time to move in and set up classrooms. We want to ensure that these visits are welcoming, meaningful, and reflective of the care going into preparing each space.
We’re optimistic that we can make this happen and will share more information as the summer unfolds. In the meantime, we will continue with traditional welcome events—like Popsicles with the Principals—for all incoming students. These gatherings are a great way to meet school leaders and connect with other families.
We also encourage you to follow the school Facebook pages and PCC-run groups, where families are already organizing opportunities to connect and build community.
Class assignments and welcome letters from teachers will be shared in August. We appreciate your patience and partnership as we prepare for an exciting start to the year!

Transportation Registration for the 2025-26 School Year will open on April 29, 2025. More information on how to register will be posted to the website and emailed to families when registration opens.
