Magic Mercado

Magic is a determined and energetic student who describes himself as helpful, loud, and kind. He enjoys staying active by playing football, basketball, and baseball, and when he isn’t at practice, he spends his free time playing games on his Xbox. Academically, Magic has set ambitious goals for himself: he aims to earn straight A’s by the end of the school year and hopes to start all four years of high school in sports. Currently, his favorite subject is English Language Arts. Magic credits his second-grade teacher for inspiring him to become the student he is today. After struggling that year, he realized the importance of effort in school, and from that point on, he worked hard to achieve A’s and B’s, earning school rewards along the way. By the end of elementary school, his dedication and positive behavior were recognized when he received an award for being a great citizen, showing how much he values both achievement and character.
