The Governing Board approved an agreement with Lennox Industries, Inc. under the California Multiple Award Schedules pricing and contract provisions. California Public Contract Code (PCC) §§ 10298 and 10299 authorize local government agencies and school districts to use California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) agreements to procure goods and services without competitive bidding. CMAS vendors and manufacturers are required to honor prices that do not exceed those established under the applicable CMAS agreement, allowing public agencies to procure equipment and supplies efficiently and cost-effectively.

As part of Measure R, the District will replace the HVAC system at the Cambrian Community Center, located between Price Middle School and Fammatre Elementary School. To support this project, the District proposes to purchase HVAC equipment, supplies, and related materials through California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) agreements.

Estimated Agreement: Not to Exceed $319,973.72

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for our schools and the district to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs.

Mrs. Samantha Haley, Fammatre Principal, and Mrs. Amy O'Hehir, Farnham Principal, provided updates to their school’s 2026-27 Local Control Accountability Plans. The updates reviewed planned changes to the actions and services for improving student outcomes according to the eight priorities set by the state in alignment with the District's Local Control Accountability Plan.

The Governing Board adopted Resolution 26-27-05 to rescind Resolution 25-26-08 and authorize the reversal of the $400,000 interfund loan from Fund 400 to Fund 250. Based on the County’s recommendation, expenditures exceeding available Fund 250 resources will be charged to Fund 400 and reimbursed from future developer fee revenues collected in Fund 250.

On March 5, 2026, the Board approved Resolution 25-26-08, authorizing a temporary transfer of District funds from Fund 400 (Fund 40), Special Reserve for Capital Outlay Projects, to Fund 250 (Fund 25), Capital Facilities Fund, to address short-term cash flow needs.

During its review of the District’s unaudited actuals, the Santa Clara County Office of Education recommended reversing the transfer from Fund 250 (Fund 25) back to Fund 400 (Fund 40). The County also recommended that expenditures for the additional Steindorf portables project that cannot be paid from Fund 250 (Fund 25) be charged directly to Fund 400 (Fund 40).

Fund 400 (Fund 40) will be reimbursed in full from Fund 250 (Fund 25) as future developer fee revenues are collected.
