Academy Announcements
Dear Academy families and friends,
This month is very busy with new events and information added daily. Please be sure to click on the different buttons below to learn more about all the happenings at Academy and the district.
- The Fun Run is on March 25th!!! We've already made $11,000 but there's still plenty of time to go. Monday is our first visit from the Fun Run Fairies.
- Our ROAR assembly was incredible this past Friday. Students from around the building were recognized for all their hard work and positive impact on our school climate. We also have two special classroom awards, the Golden Paw and Jr. Golden Paw for the classrooms who have given 110% this past month. Congratulations to Mrs. LaRose's 4th grade class and Ms. Glavin's Kindergarten class.
- The ST Math Challenge is on. To help kick up the excitement, the students had a special guest appearance from the one and only Jiji the penguin this past Friday!
- The Two Bite Club is moving to the next food group....DAIRY!!! It might be a bit cheesy (see what I did there), but the competition was the closet I have seen between a handful of different grades. With the spring weather on the way, who wouldn't want extra recess.
- It is Spring Spirit Week this week,...flyers went home last week, please see below for the different themes.
- Remember, MCAS begins at the end of the month!
Now that we have "sprung" ahead, I am hoping for more sunny days to fill the skies.
