Course selection is right around the corner, starting March 9th for the class of 2029, March 10th for the class of 2028, and March 11th for the class of 2029. Course requests are due for all students by Monday, March 16th at 2:30 PM. For more information, please click here.

AGHS String Orchestra

On Friday, February 20, 2026, members of the AGHS String Orchestra travelled to Susquehanna University to work with Dr. Zach Levi, the SU Orchestra director, and the Susquehanna University Orchestra. Throughout the day, the orchestra students rehearsed with the SU orchestra students and Dr. Levi, had breakout sessions with SU string faculty, and learned new approaches to ensemble performance as well as string technique. The day culminated with an evening concert at Stretansky Concert Hall. The program consisted of pieces played by the Susquehanna University Orchestra as well as two pieces that were performed together by members of the AGHS String Orchestra and Susquehanna University under the direction of Dr. Zach Levi. Congratulations to all that participated and performed!

Class of 2027: Junior Family Appointments

The AGHS School Counseling Department is looking forward to meeting with you and your student for your Junior Family Appointment.

These meetings provide the opportunity for you and your student to meet with your school counselor to discuss graduation requirements, course selection for senior year, and post-secondary planning. These meetings are in-person and approximately 45 minutes in length. If you are unable to attend, please be assured that we will still meet with your student this year.

These meetings will occur February 9th through May 1st, with both morning and afternoon appointments available. Select counselors will have evening hours as noted on the PTCFast schedule.
