💜 Supporting the Regan Family 💜
Our school community would like to extend our love and support to Thalia Regan, one of our sweet kindergarten students. Thalia was diagnosed with cancer last year and, after a recent setback, has been in the hospital for an extended stay. Her family remains hopeful that she will be home soon as she awaits another surgery. During this time, Thalia will not be able to attend school, but we want her and her family to feel the care and encouragement of our entire Strasburg Elementary community. To help support the Regan's during this difficult time, we will be hosting a fundraiser raffle and silent auction. Thank you for joining us in wrapping this family in love and support.
Raffle tickets can be purchased in the elementary office for $2 each or 3 for $5. All proceeds will go directly to the Regan family to help ease the financial burden during Thalia’s treatment. Although tickets are for sale, any donation amount will also be accepted.

An Evening with Nathan Harmon – Your Life Speaks
We are thrilled to invite you to a special community event featuring nationally recognized speaker Nathan Harmon with Your Life Speaks. During the school day on October 28th , Nathan will be presenting to our students on important topics such as:
Making good choices
Kindness is contagious
The power of truly listening versus just hearing
Bullying prevention
What it means to be a real friend
In the evening, parents and community members are invited to hear Nathan’s powerful message as well. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience firsthand what your students are learning and to carry these conversations home.
To help us prepare, please use the QR Code and fill out the RSVP form. Food and drinks will be provided, and child care will be available so families can attend and fully participate.
We hope you’ll join us for this inspiring and meaningful evening with Nathan Harmon—an event designed to strengthen our students, our families, and our community.
Dear Strasburg Families,
Strasburg School District is excited to share that we will be participating in Red Ribbon Week this year from October 21st–24th. Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign focused on encouraging healthy choices and substance-free lifestyles for our students.
Here’s what our students can look forward to:
Kindergarten–2nd Grade will engage in activities centered around keeping our bodies healthy.
3rd–5th Grade will participate in lessons and presentations about the importance of saying no to vaping and substance use.
In addition, we will be welcoming guest presenters the following week, October 28th and 29th, to build on these important conversations with engaging, age-appropriate content.
A flyer highlighting the week’s events and activities will be coming home soon with your child.
Thank you for partnering with us in supporting the health and well-being of our students
