Dear Lilja Families,

Thank you all for your partnership with the PTO for the Read-A-Thon! We are so impressed with our Lilja students and their dedication to reading at home.

Research shows that reading together at home helps children do better in school by building strong language and thinking skills. It also creates special bonding time that supports their emotional well-being. Families who read together regularly give their kids a wonderful foundation for lifelong learning and social-emotional resilience.

Renaissance Reports Update - Kindergarten Families Only

Kindergarten families will receive their child’s Renaissance Reports during Parent/Teacher Conferences in November, rather than by mail as in other grades. This change allows teachers to review results with families in person and answer any questions right away. Families who are unable to attend conferences in person will have their reports mailed home following the conference dates. Thank you to those who were able to join us for our Title 1 Family Information Night! Title I Family Information Night on October 29, 2025. We had a wonderful evening full of valuable information and thoughtful questions—thank you to everyone who was able to join us!
