The Mustang Message

Dear Vasquez High School Families,

We are so excited to open our doors for the 2026–2027 school year! Whether your student is a freshman stepping onto campus for the first time or a senior gearing up for their final year, we’re ready to get started.

First off, a massive thank you to everyone who came out for Registration Days. It was great seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new ones, and your support helped us get everything set up for a smooth start. For those who were able to attend in person, be sure to doublecheck Aeries for any schedule updates to ensure you’re attending the right classes on your first day.

Missing Your Schedule?

If you couldn't make it to registration, you can view your student's schedule before the first bell rings by following these quick steps:

1. Head over to the Aeries Parent/Student Portal.

2. Log in to your account.

3. Tap the Classes tab to check room numbers, teachers, and periods

Please have your student double-check Aeries before heading to campus so they know exactly where to go.

Wednesday Short Day Reminder

Please remember that Wednesdays are short days for Staff Professional Development. School starts at the normal time (7:40 AM), but students are dismissed early at 1:35 PM. See schedule below for details.

We’re looking forward to a great year full of learning, growth, and high school memories. See you all soon!

As we kick off the school year, please remember that all students are required to use a district-assigned Chromebook. These devices are essential for daily learning and ensure students can access instructional materials and testing applications securely. Personal laptops, iPads, or tablets are not permitted.

Here is what you need to know to keep your student ready for class:

• Daily Prep: Students must bring their district Chromebook to school fully charged every day and take it home each evening.

• No Classroom Charging: Classrooms do not have charging stations, so starting the day with a 100% battery is crucial.

• Didn't Get a Chromebook at Registration? If your student still needs a device, you can pick one up directly from the District Office.

Thank you for helping us ensure a seamless, tech-ready environment for all our students!

Senior Sunrise is on the first day of school! Meet at the football field by 6:15 am. Bring your favorite breakfast snack and get ready to kick off your Senior year!

After Senior Sunrise, Seniors will meet in the gym for Advisory.

Welcome Class of 2027 and proud family of Seniors!! This is a busy yet exciting time for all of us and Mrs. Torrez, the senior advisor, plans to help make your last high school year an amazing experience. But she cannot do it alone! Please check your email and the Senior Classroom Google Classroom for updates, special announcements and information. Thank you for your ongoing support and participation. Let's make things happen!!
