Message from Mrs. Jones
Hello, Fallbrook Students & Families,
I hope that you've enjoyed the Labor Day holiday to rest and recharge as we head into our next month of school. We are incredibly proud to be celebrating another school year named one of US News' Best High Schools! If you haven't had a chance to read our latest press release, please take a moment to check it out via the article linked below this message. This is a tremendous celebration of our students and staff!
Please also take a moment to review the information below regarding a few ways families can support students to ensure they are provided the best possible learning environment while at school, as well as upcoming events and a reminder that our midterm grading period ends later this month.
Help Us Support Your Student Build Warrior PRIDE:
- Chromebooks: We want for our students to grow as productive individuals. Please remind students to charge Chromebooks each night and to bring it to school each day. This helps to ensure full access to this learning tool as needed throughout each day, especially during assessment weeks where students want to be ready to launch digital assessments without the delay of checkout out a loaner device.
- Item Drop-Off: We want for our students to demonstrate responsible leadership. We ask that families encourage growth in this area by helping students take responsibility for being fully prepared for school and extracurricular events each day. As a result, we do not coordinate drop-off of items for students. In most circumstances, students have alternative options for forgotten items; for example, we have some loaner Chromebooks on hand at the library, all students are eligible for free lunch on campus, and our PE department has loaner PE clothes. Please take a moment to review our drop-off policies in the Student Handbook for additional information.
- Phones: We want for our students to grow as effective communicators. In order to support this effort, all cell phones are to be off and stored in classroom cell phone holders during instructional time; this includes when students are on a hall pass. Help your student maintain focus while at school by avoiding texting or calling during instructional time, and affirming that class time should be phone-free.
We'd Love Your Involvement!
Are you interested in getting more involved on campus? Below are some upcoming opportunities:
- Our first PTSA General Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 10th, at 6pm in the College & Career Center.
- Thank you to those who submitted nominations for our School Site Council Parent/Community Representatives! Please take a moment to vote for our two open parent seats (link is below this message). Our first meeting will be Wednesday, September 23rd, from 3-4pm.
Upcoming Midterm Progress Report - September 18th
Also note that our midterm progress report grading period ends on Friday, September 18th. Official midterm progress report grades will be visible to families and students in the Student/Parent Portal on Wednesday, September 23rd. Please check the Parent/Student Portal regularly for updates, and note that a student's official grade is always the one posted in Aeries; grades posted in Google Classroom are not necessarily the same as a student's official grade as material from Google Classroom must be pulled into Aeries for a collective grade. If you are uncertain of your student's current progress, please reach out to their teachers directly for support.
If there is anything you need, please feel free to reach out by telephone at (760) 723-6300 x3102, x3110, or x3103, or by email through our website.
Let's make this a great week, Warriors!

Student Driver Parking Locations & Parking Passes
Licensed Drivers may complete a parking permit application to park vehicles on campus. Parking Permit Applications are available in the AP Office. Parking Permit enforcement will begin the week of August 24th.
Late to School...Where Do I Park?
- Seniors with a reserved spot: Come to the Guard Shack for entry to the senior lot (Note: Repeated unexcused late arrivals to campus may result in having your reserved parking space revoked!)
- All other student drivers: If no spaces are available in the District Overflow Parking Lot, come to the Guard Shack. A Campus Supervisor will be called to meet you at the Visitor Bleacher Gate (near the Ag Department) for parking access.
Off-Roll Students - Please Note Updates to Parking Locations
- No 1st: Senior Reserved Parking (if you have purchased a spot) OR Visitor Bleacher Parking (Gates will be opened for student arrival 10 minutes before end of Period 1 each morning)
- No 5th: Senior Reserved Parking (if you have purchased a spot) OR Winterhaven Parking Lot (Gates will be opened for students for 10 minutes after start of Period 5)
- No 4th & 5th: Senior Reserved Parking (if you have purchased a spot) OR Winterhaven Parking Lot (Students may leave at the START of lunch; students choosing to stay on campus for lunch will not be released until lunch ends)
NOTE: Parking Permits are required in ALL district lots, including the District Overflow Lot!
PLEASE HELP US BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS IN OUR COMMUNITY BY PARKING IN DESIGNATED AREAS ON CAMPUS
It has been brought to our attention by our neighbors to the north and south that students are parking in neighborhoods, frequently blocking driveways, hydrants, and roadways. Please help us to maintain positive relationships with our neighbors on all sides by utilizing the available parking on campus. If you arrive late to school and can't access one of the parking lots, drive through the front horseshoe loop and ask the front gate to radio for someone to open one of the available parking lots for you.
