Staff Shoutouts

Can not thank everyone for all that they do but I want to take time for a few shoutouts!

  • Kristen Wilton & Emily Blackburn - As speech is heading to state, we want to thank these two great coaches for their time and dedication to our students and their activity! Many hours before and after school and you are appreciated!

  • Susan Doehling, Darrol Gray, Tony Hernbloom, John Rasmussen, Chris Alt - Thank you for all the time you take to drive routes for us! Without you, there would be a lot less students or a lot more walking from them :). Thank you for being there and doing a great job!

  • Renee Bilstein, Laci Rutherford, Mel Hoegerl, Stacy Stewart, Heather Thompson - Thank you to this amazing team who helps with the organization and execution of many great plans to help all of our students meet their best version of themselves. There are many paraprofessionals who help make the school day successful but these are who help continue to keep all staff members responsible for all of our students!

Message from Mr. Tejkl

"Precious Privilege..."

Good morning!

Where did March come from?!?! But here we are and it is a reminder of how fast time can go so hug those children of yours, call your loved ones and take advantage of each day! As we move toward the end of the school year, continue to make each day your best and take advance of the time given.

That goes hand-in-hand with the quote of the week and it is just a reminder that if we are given the opportunity to wake up the next morning, have a bed to rest our head on, a roof over our heads, loved ones around us...the negative things around us don't compare.

It is another reminder as well that we are not on Earth to be average. We are here to be the best version we can, to be kind to everyone around us and continuing to be there for those around us. I am thankful for the opportunity to come to work each day and interact with great students, a terrific staff who cares about what they do and the chance to change lives one day at a time.

What are you thankful for? What can you do in your day that will make impact for others? How can we continue to improve our craft? How can we continue to be the best version of ourselves for our family? - - - A simple way to start is say "Thank you" each morning and being present! Let's continue to work together and be the best we can be!

Have a great Sunday and Spring Break is right around the corner!!!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love, then make that day count."

Steve Maraboli

Sincerely,

Tucker Tejkl
