Teacher Appreciation Week
I love our staff! This next week is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. I will be celebrating our staff every day in different ways, but I know they would love to hear from you as well. Show your love for your teacher and the other adults who work in our building by joining in for some of the fun ideas below. Appreciation goes a long way and cost little or next to nothing.
- Bring a staff member a flower or draw a picture of a flower to give to them
- Write a staff member a note of thanks for all they do for you.
- Wear your teacher's favorite color.
- Bring your teacher a sweet treat to get them through the day.
- Bring in a school supply to replenish their stash (pencils, dry erase markers, etc).
- Write an email to your teacher and include your favorite meme to make them laugh.
- Donate a book that your teacher can add to their classroom library.
- Make a personalized or handmade bookmark for your teacher to use.
- Write a letter telling about your favorite memory with your teacher.
State Testing finishes this week!
Our 4th and 5th graders have finished testing with the exception of make-ups. This next week, our 3rd graders will test and then we begin the downhill slide to the end of the year! See the information a little further down in the newsletter for a calendar of upcoming events.
Have you registered?
Fewer than half of our students are registered for next school year! Get this completed today so that we can begin rolling their information over to place them on a class list!
End of Year Coming Events
As we approach the end of the school year, we want to keep you up-to-date on events so you can mark your calendars. Be sure to watch for communication from your child's teacher for specifics about these events or for additional events that may be happening in their class.
As a reminder, students who are checked out before the end of the day will not count as an excused absence.
This list continues to grow, so it may not have every event listed. Be sure to check Rooms and watch for communication from your child's teacher for class-specific events.
